so.
i guess a good place to start would be with the crazy people occupying this journal. so. there is:

Alice Carter, entirely too adventurous, often sarcastic, a bit whimsical, slightly weird (more than usual, anyway) ever since acquiring a dose of technopathy

Claire Carter, Alice's eternally acerbic/bossy little sister who finds Other People quite irritating

Jack, resident beam of sunshine and your #1 source for a good explosion

Finnegan, better known as Finn and undisputed master of taking it all with a deadpan one-liner

Lilly Harper, a shy blend of sweet and creepy who can either make you cookies or whack you with a shovel (your choice)

Judith, slightly psychotic fallen angel who veers wildly between all manner of self-destruction and reminding you that yes, in fact, she is awesome and better than you

this band of six lives in a big city with too many secrets and all types of monsters, demons, and fairies lurking in every alleyway. it's a wild ride, and they're not very sure how they ended up there, but damn it's fun. Our Heroes are here to find out what goes bump in the night, make sure none of it would harm the world they romp around in and those who live in it, and see if their most recent only-slightly-illegal smuggling profit will pay the rent.

i dunno about the actual quality, but i hope that it's getting pretty close to the kind of story i personally like, all brilliant with zany adventure and misplaced witticisms and weird mysteries and people who love each other, though you wouldn't ever catch them admitting it.

basically, even with my inexperienced and inconsistent self at the helm, i hope it's awesome. you tell me.
